Here there are the steps to get a youtube video and some tricks in case you get stuck

Here are the steps to follow in order to download a video:

The first thing to do is copy the url of the youtube video you want to download and insert it into the text field Video URL (eg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6Jpcy2GZ1Q) and press Search button.

The video will be shown, in case it were the one you want click dowload, if not search it again.

You will get a window telling you to save or view the video, click save. If no windows appears, click here.

By default the name of the video is video.flv (or video.mp4 or video.3gp, depending on output format selected). If it gives you the option to save wherever you want, rename it as you wish, for example myvideo.flv. In any other case, probably it will have been save on your desktop called video.flv, then if you want to change its name: Click the right mouse button > Rename.

Now enjoy your video!!

I clicked download and no windows appeared. What happened?

If you have this problem is because your browser crashes, usually you have to allow the download by clicking on a message that appears at the top of the screen.

I selected an output format and got an other. What happened?

If you have this problem is probably because you selected MP4 option and maybe it is not available for your video. Try to get the video in FLV format.
